4 Weeks to Fat Loss, is a fitness program designed to help you burn calories and blast fat, all while tightening and toning your muscles. It alternates between cardio videos for maximum calorie burn, and interval training videos that focus on strengthening and sculpting while also keeping your heart rate up. Each week features 5 workouts, and includes some short Bonus Workouts that you can add if you want and extra push. All of BodyFit by Amy videos feature lower impact options and modifications for different fitness levels.

The schedule is set up with workouts Monday through Friday, but allows you to substitute weekends if you need to modify your own personal schedule.  Just strive to get all 5 workouts in each week, aim to get moving in other ways on the off days and throughout the week as well — walking, hiking, shop- ping, cleaning, gardening, all count as bonus workouts!

Whatever your reason for doing this program, my main goal is for you to end these 4 weeks feeling stronger and fitter, having ditched some old bad habits and developed some healthy new ones! If weight loss and fat loss are your goal, this program will certainly help you do that.

      Yes, as long as you have been cleared by a doctor and are sure you don’t have diastasis recti (ab separation), this would be be great postpartum. The beginner ebook would also be good to ease back into it. Just take your time and listen to your body!

    Is there a lot of equipment or plyometrics as part of this program? I want heart-pounding but low impact. Also what is the average length of workout time? Thanks!

      Hi Jackie! The only equipment required is a set of dumbbells and a mat (or carpet or soft space to go down to the floor.) All the videos have both low impact and high impact options, so any exercise that is plyometric will also have a lower impact option. Workouts range from 20-35 minutes, with the option of adding a “Bonus Burn” workout ranging from 5-10 minutes. Thanks!

      The program gives additional structure to the YouTube video workouts – it orders them so you work your entire body in the week and takes the guess work out of which video to do next.

    your workouts are really great. Is this program suitable also for diastasi recti? I’m doing diastasi recti workouts but I need also some cardio for fat loss. Would you recommend me this or other program in this case?

      Hi Alena! If you are doing the other Diastasis Recti core workouts and know modifications, you could do this program and just substitute DR moves if something isn’t suitable for you and where you are in your healing. Full postpartum program coming soon!

    I have been working out daily with your free YouTube videos for like a year and recently decided to give this program a go. Done 5 days so far and wondering what can I do on the weekends. I’m used to do your YouTube workouts every single day, never missed one. Feels weird. What would you recommend?

      Hey Anna! That’s awesome! You can always repeat one of the workouts from that week (doesn’t matter what one, just pick your favorite!), or add in the 10 Minute Bonus Burn. Or of course doing something different like getting outside for a hike or walk. I usually recommend at least one day off from strength training or higher intensity workouts, but do what feels good for you!

    I am 5 months postpartum with C-Sec. I gained 20 kgs over my pre-pregnancy weight during the last 5 months, checked with the doctors, nothing seems to be wrong, so I started working out to go back to a healthy weight. I use your videos from youtube, especially the diastasis workout, has been really great. Will this help me shed some weight quicker?
