Lactation Granola Recipe

by | Nutrition

Here’s my favorite lactation recipe—hearty granola!  A friend made this for more after my son was born and I’ve been eating it ever since!  I eat it as a granola with Greek Yogurt and fruit, but you can also roll into cookies or Boobie Bites . And while it will help boost milk production if you are a nursing mother, it’s totally fine to eat anytime (as I said, I ate it even after weaning my son!). It is high calorie by design, though, so if weight loss is your goal, it might not be best for you.

1 cup organic oats

I cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional 😜)

1/2 cup peanut butter

2/3 cup organic honey

1/2 tbsp Brewers yeast (optional for milk production) .

Mix and enjoy!
