What you need for this recipe

Why These Protein Balls Are a Healthy Snack Option

These bites may taste indulgent, but they’re secretly packed with nutrients:

  • Protein powder and almond flour deliver a solid dose of plant-based protein to support muscle recovery and blood sugar balance.
  • Almond flour delivers fiber to support gut health and digestion.
  • Tahini brings healthy fats and minerals like calcium and iron, while also making these bites extra creamy and satisfying.
  • Maple syrup adds a touch of sweetness.
  • Soy milk and dark chocolate chips contribute antioxidants – and the soy milk adds extra plant-based protein!

Together, these ingredients make a nutrient-dense snack that satisfies your sweet tooth while supporting energy, satiety, and overall wellness.

How much does it cost?

This recipe makes about 12 balls and costs around $6.50–$7.50 total—just $0.55 per ball! It’s healthy, affordable, and easy to keep on hand.

Dietitian Tip

Pair 2–3 of these with a piece of fruit or a smoothie for a balanced breakfast or a satisfying post-workout snack. Want to bump up the fiber or omega-3s? Try adding chia seeds, hemp hearts, or ground flax!
